Q: Do I need previous hauling experience to become a contract carrier?
No, you do not need prior load-hauling experience. Once your authority is active and documentation complete, you’re eligible to book loads with C.H. Robinson.
Q: What is my CH Robinson T-number?
Your T-number or T-code is what identifies your company in Navisphere Carrier. It helps us keep track of each transaction your company has with C.H. Robinson. It would have been sent to you via email when your registration was complete and can also be found on the top of any C.H. Robinson rate confirmation. All T-numbers start with “T” followed by a series of numbers. You can also see your T-number in the dropdown located in the upper right corner of Navisphere Carrier.
Q: What is my C.H. Robinson carrier ID (T-number) and where do I find it?
Your C.H. Robinson carrier ID (often called the “T-number”) is in the account settings tab in the top right corner of Navisphere® Carrier after you login. You can also find it on your load confirmations and contract addendum. If you have questions or can’t locate it, contact your carrier representative or reach out via live chat.
Q: How long does my Motor Carrier (MC) number need to be active before I can haul for C.H. Robinson?
You can sign up to haul with C.H. Robinson as soon as your Motor Carrier (MC) or Department of Transportation (DOT) number is active. Some shippers’ freight may require you to have 90 days of experience, but that is not a universal requirement.
Q: Is there a cost to use Navisphere® Carrier?
No, Navisphere® Carrier (both web and app) is free for carriers approved to haul with C.H. Robinson.
Q: How do I link my ELD or GPS device to C.H. Robinson for tracking?
All tracking device systems have different ways of connecting to C.H. Robinson. View our carrier tracking page to learn how for your individual device. C.H. Robinson also accepts tracking updates through API and EDI integrations or the Navisphere® Carrier app.
