On August 11, 2025, the White House issued an Executive Order (EO) that announced a 90-day extension to the scheduled increase in China’s reciprocal tariff rates on August 12, 2025. According to the EO, the reciprocal tariff rate increase for China has been deferred until 12:01 a.m. ET on November 10, 2025.
The reciprocal tariffs for China (including Hong Kong and Macau) will continue at the current 10% rate throughout the extension period.
